Day 1
Visit to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and The Mausoleum of Ataturk. Lunch at a local in Ankara drive to Cappadocia through the Anatolian countryside. (L,D)
Day 2
Full day tour in Cappadocia, including the natural citadel of Uchisar to see the amazing landscape of region; Goreme Valley with the churches and monasteries painted with colorful frescoes. The valley of Zeive and underground city carved by the Early Christians, as a refuge from the persecutors. (B,L,D)
Day 3
Early departure for Antakya, drive to Nigde. Visit Eskigumus Monastery on the way, which is the only monastery with smiling Virgin Mary frescoe. Lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 4
After breakfast, visit St. Peter's Grotto which is the first church in the world and also the greatest Mosaic Museum. After lunch drive to Urfa. (B,L,D)
Day 5
After visit to Halil Rahman Mosque and Balikligol, the sanctuary place of Abraham the prophet. Proceeding to Nemrut Mountain, to visit world famous Tumulus of Antiochos II, the King of Commegenes. (B,L,D)
Day 6
After breakfast drive to Diyarbakir, lunch enroute. The city tour in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 7
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Van. Visit the Akdamar Church which was built on an island on the Van Lake. Lunch will be served in Akdamar. (B,L,D)
Day 8
Spend the morning in Van. Proceeding to Dogubeyazit and visit Ishakpasa Palace, lunch enroute. (B,L,D)
Day 9
After breakfast drive to Kars, visit the ruins of ancient city Ani. Lunch will be served on the way. Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 10
Spend the morning in the city, after lunch drive to Trabzon, dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 11
Morning visit to Sumela Monastry, return to Trabzon to visit St. Sophia. (B,L,D)
Day 12
After breakfast transfer to Trabzon airport.
